    Wonderful cosy atmosphere with a roaring log fire and eclectic book collection. The food was superb - homely, nourishing and a pretty extensive menu which catered very well for a coeliac (gluten free) eater.

    The chef opened the restaurant for us and the waitress was really nice. The decoration is somptuous and authentic. The food is good, the meat well cooked and the lamb curry was very tasty and not too spicy. However few black dots that didn't stained our experience too much: the meat was served warm not hot, the fruits and panacota were not very tasty and fruits not well unfrozen and (even if it's not their fault) the Tassie Pinot noir was kind of watery and sweet.
